4-H is a badge of honor for kids 9-18. 4-H started right here in Ohio. Kids join a area 4-H clubs focusing on their project passion. Theresa Smith belonged to a sewing club, horse, rabbit and steer. 4-H promotes the 4 H’s (Head, Heart, Hands and Health). Because of 4-H, Theresa developed her public speaking skills, promotion of events, understanding the financial side of planning for life and most importantly, how to be a kind human being. -What is 4-H?
The 4-H categories include Livestock * Public speaking * Cooking Demos * Sewing * Crafting * Baking * Floral Arrangements * Horticulture * Tractors * and much more.
